Classification of sciences from the perspective of Islamic philosophy and its implications for curriculum

Abstract

The move to create a new civilization requires the diffusion of principles, objectives and ideals of the civilization in organizing its educational system. Curriculum, without regard to the principles and purposes, trained in the best way it can, improve the system. Mainly ontological, epistemological and axiology is considered. One of the issues under review epistemological principles is classification of sciences. This study tries to evaluate the nature of classification from the perspective of Islamic philosophy and the results of its work in the curriculum. This descriptive, analytical research method that uses the tool library has been collecting material.then the results with analytical-deductive method has been obtained for curriculum. This article will be discussed after the introduction the classification of the sciences. Then the next step, introduce the curriculum and the works of classification in the field of curriculum and target elements, content and organization of teaching-learning strategies, will be discussed. In the end, it is argued that in studies, precise and deliberate understanding of the subject classification of the sciences should be achieved. Regardless of this curriculum is lacking consistent look towards science. Consequently, the image of the universe that presented is incomplete picture purpose and unity of the universe does not have. As a result, the individual and society in the long run, with anxiety about the lives, thoughts, as well.
